Job Overview
We are currently looking for inspectors on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. The person hired for this position will be the quality inspector at Hoosier Pride Plastics, verifying all stock as required prior to shipment following company policy and customer requirements.
Duties
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of products after manufacturing, as required, prior to shipping to customers
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality metrics
- Coordinate with the production team, when needed, to avoid line shutdown or other downtime
- Collaborate with Hoosier Pride personnel to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
- Follow all rules/guidelines posted within the facility in regard to PPE, dress code, and evacuation procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding product quality
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the workday, excluding breaks, and lift up to 40 lbs.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
