Position Summary
The Compliance Review Attorney supports federal compliance, regulatory review, and case
evaluation activities for a government customer. This position performs legal and factual
analysis of complaints, allegations, inquiries, and supporting documentation to determine
appropriate disposition and support program objectives. The Compliance Review Attorney
prepares written analyses, correspondence, memoranda, and other case-related
documentation while ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and
procedural requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound
judgment, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a structured, deadline-driven
environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review complaints, allegations, inquiries, and supporting documentation for completeness and
- Conduct legal and factual analysis to identify relevant issues and determine appropriate
- Evaluate information for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural
- Perform research and analysis to support case review, investigative, and compliance-related
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, summaries, reports, and other written work products.
- Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and supporting records within applicable systems.
- Analyze large volumes of information and documentation while maintaining accuracy and
- Communicate with stakeholders to obtain additional information, clarification, or supporting
- Support quality assurance efforts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of work
- Manage multiple assignments and competing priorities while meeting established deadlines and
- Protect sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information in accordance with applicable
- Demonstrated legal analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex
- Advanced legal writing and technical documentation experience.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret complex records, documentation, and supporting
- Capacity to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadlinedriven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently while maintaining quality, consistency, and

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic case management systems.

Education & Work Experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience conducting legal analysis, investigations, compliance reviews, regulatory
- Experience supporting government, regulatory, compliance, investigative, or legal
- Demonstrated legal writing, analytical, and research skills required.
Certifications, Licenses
- Active bar membership required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust level clearance.
Work Environment
Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate
temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and
equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
Physical Demands
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format.
