Billing Specialist Jobs in Iowa

INTRODUCTION

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Invoicing team at Marsh. This role will be based in Urbandale and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of six days per month in the office.

As a Billing Specialist, you partner with various business units to facilitate precise and prompt billing of consulting services, ensuring a positive experience for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with various teams within the business units to ensure accurate and timely billing of consulting revenue
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients
• Consistently produce timely deliverables
• Adhere to billing requirements and invoice within specified terms
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX, SSAE16, tax regulations, local GAAP, US GAAP, and applicable statutory regulations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in the MS Office suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior billing experience
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
