Residential New Construction | Metro Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 Base Salary + Annual Performance Incentive

SR Homes is seeking an experienced, hands-on Sales Manager to serve as a player-coach for our growing new home sales organization.
This leadership role combines sales management, team development, business strategy, and direct customer engagement. The ideal candidate will lead by example—driving results personally while developing a high-performing team capable of supporting SR Homes’ continued growth throughout Metro Atlanta.

Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance across all active communities while coaching, developing, and supporting a team of on-site sales professionals.
The successful candidate will personally engage with buyers, help close high-value opportunities, and provide hands-on leadership to the sales team. You will be equally comfortable on a busy sales floor, conducting field coaching with sales agents, reviewing sales strategy with ownership, and helping buyers navigate one of the most significant purchasing decisions of their lives.
As a player-coach, you will lead by example—demonstrating best practices in customer engagement, follow-up, negotiation, and closing while building a high-performing sales culture focused on growth, accountability, and exceptional customer experiences.
This position requires regular travel between communities and active involvement in the day-to-day sales operation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop on-site sales professionals
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Conduct sales training and role-play sessions
- Establish individual and team sales goals
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer service
- Drive performance through ongoing development and support
Sales Operations & Business Growth
- Lead sales strategy across all active communities
- Monitor sales pace, conversion rates, traffic, and forecasting metrics
- Ensure CRM accuracy and prospect follow-up compliance
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews
- Analyze market conditions and competitive activity
- Partner with leadership on pricing, inventory management, incentives, and growth strategies
Customer Experience
- Personally manage select buyers and key sales opportunities
- Support sales associates in closing complex transactions
- Guide customers through the home buying process from initial visit through closing
- Assist with model home openings, special events, and community launches
- Resolve customer concerns and escalations professionally and effectively
- Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the buying experience
Compliance & Process Management
- Ensure contracts and sales documentation are completed accurately
- Maintain compliance with Georgia real estate laws and fair housing regulations
- Protect company profitability while supporting sales growth
- Continuously improve sales processes and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Real Estate License required
- Minimum 5 years of new home sales experience
- Previous sales leadership experience strongly preferred
- Proven success coaching and developing sales professionals
- Strong understanding of residential construction, financing, contracts, and closing processes
- Experience selling production, move-up, and custom homes preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel between communities as business needs require
- Weekend availability as required to support community operations and sales events
