INTRODUCTION

The District Office of Joshua Sharp is seeking driven professionals who want to develop the skills needed to build a successful career in the insurance industry. This full-time role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the business side of insurance while gaining experience in sales, client relationships, marketing, and team development.
Whether your background is in sales, management, customer service, or business development, this opportunity provides hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to the day-to-day operations of a growing agency.
No prior insurance experience is required.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community engagement
- Help clients identify coverage solutions that fit their needs and goals
- Learn key aspects of agency operations, including marketing, client retention, and business planning
- Track individual performance goals and contribute to team initiatives
- Participate in ongoing training focused on leadership, communication, and business development
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to support agency growth strategies
- Take on increasing responsibilities as your skills and experience grow
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of accountability
- Goal-oriented and eager to learn
- Comfortable networking and engaging with new people
- Coachable with a growth mindset
- Previous experience in sales, leadership, business development, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Interest in long-term professional growth and leadership ownership opportunities
