Sales Executive Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales executive in Missouri?
Most sales executive roles in Missouri require a bachelor's degree and several years of progressive B2B or enterprise sales experience. While there is no state-issued license specifically for sales executives in Missouri, roles selling securities or insurance require licensing through the Missouri Division of Professional Registration, including FINRA or state insurance exams. Employers in healthcare technology and SaaS commonly promote from within, valuing demonstrated quota attainment and client relationship management over advanced degrees.
How much do sales executives make in Missouri?
Sales executives in Missouri earn a median of about $115,370 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $60,920 for the lowest 10% to over $223,340 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales executives in Missouri?
Employers hiring sales executives in Missouri right now include T-Mobile, Paychex, and OEC, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Missouri's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and regional offices in financial services, healthcare technology, and manufacturing creates consistent, year-round demand for experienced sales professionals.
Which Missouri cities have the most sales executive jobs?
St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield have the most sales executive openings in Missouri. Kansas City and St. Louis drive the majority of postings because they host the state's largest corporate headquarters, regional offices, and healthcare systems, while Springfield's growing logistics and insurance sectors have expanded its share of sales leadership roles in recent years.
Are there remote sales executive jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than most fields, because enterprise and SaaS sales are built around phone, video, and digital outreach rather than fixed locations. About 55% of sales executive openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with fully remote roles most common in software, financial services, and medical device segments where the client base is national rather than local.
How can I get hired as a sales executive in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a business development representative or inside sales role at a mid-size Missouri company, which builds the pipeline management and quota experience that sales executive positions require. Oracle Health, Edward Jones, and Emerson Electric all run structured new-associate or rotational sales programs in Missouri. Earning a Missouri insurance license or a FINRA Series 6 or 63 while in an entry role gives candidates a measurable credential edge when applying for executive-track positions.
Where can I find and apply to sales executive jobs in Missouri?
You can find and apply to sales executive jobs in Missouri on Migrate Mate, which lists current Missouri openings updated in real time. Search the listings, find the roles that match your experience and territory preferences, and apply directly through each posting without any extra steps.
