Power BI Developer Administrator with Python Automation

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI DeveloperAdministrator with strong expertise in Power BI development platform administration and Python automation The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing enterprise reporting solutions administering the Power BI platform automating operational tasks and ensuring the reliability security and performance of the Power BI environment

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports

Build and optimize semantic models datasets and dataflows

Develop complex DAX measures and Power Query M transformations

Connect Power BI to SQL Server Snowflake Databricks Azure Synapse Oracle and other enterprise data sources

Optimize report performance and improve user experience

Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions

Power BI Administration

Administer Power BI Service PremiumFabric capacities gateways and workspaces

Configure tenant settings deployment pipelines and workspace governance

Manage user access RowLevel Security RLS and Microsoft Entra ID security groups

Monitor refresh schedules capacity utilization gateway performance and platform health

Perform tenant administration licensing management backup and disaster recovery activities

Support platform upgrades migrations and environment management

Python Automation

Develop Python scripts to automate Power BI administrative tasks

Automate dataset refreshes report deployments workspace management and metadata extraction

Integrate Power BI with REST APIs Microsoft Graph API Azure services and ServiceNow

Build automated monitoring health checks notifications and reporting solutions

Develop selfservice automation tools for Power BI operations

Platform Support

Troubleshoot report gateway refresh and connectivity issues

Perform root cause analysis for production incidents

Support CICD deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

Collaborate with infrastructure database cloud and security teams

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Benefits
Compensation range: $100,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
