Responsibilities:
Work in the Josh system to add core features across platform and application domains
Write device drivers and work on integrations with all our wonderful partners products
Regular communication, written and verbal, to work cross functionally with both backend and frontend development, UI/UX designers and others in the company
Identify system troubleshooting and deploy problem solving issues across platform and application domains
Contribute to architecture and recommend process improvements
Required Skills/Experience:
4-year degree in computer science or a related field
3 years professional experience in C++ programming
Excellent interpersonal skills in communications, project management and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Go and/or Python
Experience with FreeRTOS or embedded systems
Interest and/or experience in the smart home automation movement
Comfortable with frequent incremental code testing and deployment
Knowledge of an agile team environment and processes, along with tools like GIT and JIRA
Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000.
