Atria Heart is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our growing team in the Phoenix–Scottsdale area. We’re looking for a physician who delivers patient-centered, evidence-based cardiovascular care and enjoys working as part of a coordinated clinical team.
What you’ll do
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
Develop and explain individualized treatment plans, including appropriate referrals for specialty or procedural care.
Coordinate care with primary care physicians, specialists, hospital teams, and practice support staff.
Counsel patients on prevention, wellness, and management of chronic cardiovascular conditions.
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
Participate in quality improvement and practice initiatives that support access, care coordination, and patient outcomes.
Contribute to a respectful, team-centered environment.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited cardiovascular disease fellowship.
Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease.
Active Arizona medical license, or ability to obtain one before starting.
Eligible for applicable hospital medical staff privileges and credentialing.
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
Arizona fingerprint clearance, or eligibility to obtain it within the required timeframe, if applicable.
