Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and prior travel nursing experience at a hospital-based surgical setting in Milwaukee, WI.
Details
- Position is based in a hospital surgical unit (Surgery 001) specializing in cardiovascular OR cases
- Rotating shifts of 8 hours (0650–1520) or 10 hours (0650–1650), Monday through Friday, variable based on departmental need and case volumes
- Early start time of 0600 may be required depending on scheduled cardiac cases
- On-call is required on a rotating basis on weekdays and weekends based on department needs
- Holiday coverage involves on-call hours based on departmental need
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- Floating may be required within skill set, either within the facility or to sites within a 40-mile radius
- 13-week assignment with potential extension up to 26 weeks
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required
- Must possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number and provide a U.S. home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Skills checklist required for consideration
- Copies of certifications and license verification (Nursys) required for consideration
Additional Information
- When no cardiovascular cases are scheduled, the traveler will be expected to perform general OR cases
- Local candidates are accepted; however, local candidates may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
- Full SSN and full date of birth are required for submission consideration
- A copy of your Driver's License is required for consideration
