Entry Level CEO Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level ceo job?
Employers hiring entry level ceos typically look for demonstrated leadership experience from student organizations, internships, or entrepreneurial projects rather than years on a resume. A clear track of initiative, basic business acumen, and the ability to communicate strategy give candidates an edge. Tailoring your application to show measurable results, even from small-scale projects, makes a strong impression at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level ceos?
Companies hiring entry level ceos right now include SCA Health, Kindred Hospitals, and Pallet, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Startups, early-stage ventures, and small businesses make up the bulk of employers hiring at this level, since they are more likely to bring on junior leaders who can grow into the role.
Are there remote entry level ceo jobs?
Yes, though remote roles are less common at this level than in individual-contributor positions. About 0% of entry level ceo openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who need location flexibility should filter for those listings specifically. Hybrid arrangements are often the middle ground startups and small organizations offer at this stage.
Are these new grad ceo jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates with little to no prior professional experience. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship or project work in place of full-time history, and values a strong portfolio or demonstrated leadership over a long resume. Look for language like "entry level" or "recent graduate encouraged" in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level ceos?
Entry Level ceo roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Technology & Software, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to have the highest volume of early-stage companies and small organizations where a junior executive or founder-adjacent hire makes strategic sense at this level.
