Entry Level Title Officer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level title officer job?
Entry level title officers typically get hired by demonstrating familiarity with real estate closings, title searches, and property records, even if that experience comes from coursework, internships, or paralegal work. Employers at this level look for attention to detail, comfort with legal documents, and basic knowledge of title insurance principles. A relevant associate or bachelor's degree in business, legal studies, or real estate gives candidates a clear edge.
Which companies hire entry level title officers?
Companies hiring entry level title officers right now include vitu, Southern Methodist University, and Stewart Title, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Title insurance underwriters, regional title agencies, real estate law firms, and mortgage lenders are the kinds of employers most actively bringing on candidates at this experience level.
Are there remote entry level title officer jobs?
Yes, though most entry level title officer roles are on-site given the document-handling and closing coordination involved. About 13% of entry level title officer openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so options exist for candidates who need flexibility, particularly with larger national title companies that have more established remote workflows.
Are these new grad title officer jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior title officer roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or fieldwork in lieu of full-time history, or lists a degree as the primary qualification rather than years on the job. If a listing mentions training programs or mentorship, it is almost always open to new grad candidates.
Which industries hire the most entry level title officers?
Entry Level title officer roles concentrate in Education, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because high volumes of property transactions, mortgage originations, and commercial real estate closings create steady demand for junior staff who can support experienced examiners and closers.
