As our Market CFO, you will strategically coordinate facility processes with centralized finance to ensure a robust internal control environment, safeguarding assets and producing timely, consistent, and accurate financial information crucial for effective decision-making.

Every day you will communicate financial results to all relevant stakeholders in a clear, concise, and timely manner, serving as the primary accountable hospital liaison for the facility's Revenue Cycle. This involves proactively identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and ensuring optimal financial performance from patient services to payment.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional financial acumen, profound leadership in establishing and maintaining strong internal controls, and superior communication skills required to articulate complex financial data effectively.

The Market CFO for Central Coast is responsible for the 7 CA Central Coast Hospitals. This role also includes serving as the facility CFO for both Sequoia Hospital and Dominican Hospital - Santa Cruz.

Founded in 1950, Dignity Health - Sequoia Hospital is a 208-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Redwood City, California. Serving over 50,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including heart care, stroke care, and a birthing center. Additionally, Sequoia Hospital has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, and recently was awarded the AMA/ASA’s Get the Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to providing the best stroke care.
