How do I get a clinical data analyst job in Madison?
Focus your search on Madison's three dominant hiring sectors: academic medicine tied to UW Health and the UW School of Medicine, life sciences and clinical research organizations clustered in University Research Park, and regional health insurance carriers headquartered near the Capitol. Candidates with hands-on experience in SAS, R, or clinical trial data standards like CDISC gain a clear edge here, where both research and regulatory-grade data work coexist in the same job market.
Which companies hire clinical data analysts in Madison?

The local market blends large academic health systems, mid-size clinical research organizations, and regional managed care companies, giving analysts options across both research and operational data environments.
Are there remote clinical data analyst jobs in Madison?

About 54% of clinical data analyst openings tied to Madison are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. Database management, statistical programming, and regulatory submission work are the segments most likely to offer flexible arrangements with Madison-based employers.
How can I get a clinical data analyst job in Madison with little or no experience?
