Clinical Data Specialist Jobs in Bellevue: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a clinical data specialist job in Bellevue?
The strongest path into Bellevue's market is targeting the city's clinical research organizations and health technology companies, which cluster around Overlake and the Bel-Red corridor near Redmond. Employers here prioritize hands-on experience with data management platforms like Medidata Rave or Oracle Clinical, so candidates who can demonstrate proficiency with those tools stand out. Familiarity with FDA data submission standards gives you a clear edge over generalist data analysts competing for the same openings.
Which companies hire clinical data specialists in Bellevue?
Companies currently hiring clinical data specialists in Bellevue include Amazon, Walmart, and Meta, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Bellevue's employer mix leans toward mid-size clinical research organizations, health technology firms, and the regional offices of larger pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Are there remote clinical data specialist jobs in Bellevue?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role: data review, coding, and database quality tasks are commonly done remotely, while site coordination and on-site data collection duties are not. About 48% of clinical data specialist openings tied to Bellevue are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how analytical and data-review functions translate well to distributed teams. Health technology employers in Bellevue tend to offer the most flexible arrangements for desk-based data work.
How can I get a clinical data specialist job in Bellevue with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Bellevue is applying for clinical data coordinator or data entry associate roles at local contract research organizations, which regularly hire candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in a health-related field and train them in-house. Bellevue's health technology companies also hire junior data analysts who can transition into clinical data work once they build domain knowledge. Earning a CCDM credential or completing a clinical data management course strengthens your application against more experienced candidates.
Which industries hire the most clinical data specialists in Bellevue?
