We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in animal care and a passion for delivering high-quality veterinary services. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper care and treatment options.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care.
- Utilize laboratory techniques to analyze samples and interpret results.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and general care.
- Employ aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
- Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper restraint techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment.
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and critical care practices.
- Experience in animal handling, including dog handling skills.
