Starting pay - $33.02 - $49.53 (based on experience)
Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.

Qualifications
Required
- Clinical certification or licensure (MA, LPN, etc.) or bachelor’s degree in health or IT-related field
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Within six months of hire, all clinical informaticist I’s must obtain Epic Certification in the appropriate discipline (previous certification accepted)
- 1-3 years’ work experience directly related to system build and design preferred

- Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Strong customer service skills used in assisting coworkers, end users, and vendors – pleasant, professional, "customer" oriented

- Ability to document standing operating procedures and technical guidelines

- Ability to handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibilities:
- Acquires and maintains in-depth working "user" knowledge of the system.
- Acquires and maintains in-depth knowledge of operational workflows and processes.
- Promotes data integrity, security, privacy, confidentiality, access and exchange of health data for all users of health information.
- Based on knowledge of EHR systems and input from end users, makes recommendations for application enhancements.
- Provides technical support for leadership, management, clinical and support staff during upgrades, new implementations, regularly during typical usage and after hours.
- Maintains and modifies options within the system for upgrades, fixes and optimization. Examples of option include content and layout, system profiles, data tables, system settings and parameters. Components will vary by system.
- Assists with issue resolution, working with end users, OMC's Information Technology (IT) department, and the vendor team(s).
- Submits service requests to the vendor as necessary, tracks status regularly, and escalates status when necessary.
- Maintains communication with vendor, user groups, department managers, subject matter experts, super users and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
