About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This role involves performing general laboratory testing during night shifts, supporting accurate diagnostic results, and maintaining quality standards in a hospital laboratory environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform clinical laboratory testing across multiple laboratory disciplines.
Conduct blood bank testing while ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results in a timely manner.
Maintain laboratory documentation and utilize the CPSI/Evident EMR system.
Follow laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) License required.
Minimum 3 years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience required.
Blood bank experience required.
Current TB clearance completed within the past 12 months required.
Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR preferred.
This assignment offers a consistent 7-on/7-off night schedule, providing an excellent opportunity for experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientists seeking a balanced work rotation in a hospital laboratory setting.
