Clinical Research Assistant Jobs in Irving: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a clinical research assistant job in Irving?
Irving's hiring for clinical research assistants is driven by contract research organizations and hospital-affiliated trial sites concentrated in Las Colinas and near the DFW Medical District. Candidates who stand out have hands-on experience with informed consent processes, regulatory binders, or data entry in EDC systems. Targeting CROs, specialty clinics, and medical device firms in Irving's corporate office parks gives you the best volume of open roles.
Which companies hire clinical research assistants in Irving?
Companies currently hiring clinical research assistants in Irving include Medpace, DM Clinical Research, and ALS Global, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Irving's employer mix leans toward CROs, pharmaceutical services firms, and health system affiliates anchored in the Las Colinas and Valley Ranch business corridors.
Are there remote clinical research assistant jobs in Irving?
Yes, though remote availability is limited for hands-on roles like site coordination and patient-facing work, which require on-site presence. About 60% of clinical research assistant openings tied to Irving are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with flexibility most common for data management, regulatory document review, and medical coding tasks. Irving's CRO-heavy market makes hybrid arrangements more available than in purely hospital-based markets.
How can I get a clinical research assistant job in Irving with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Irving is through contract research organizations in Las Colinas that hire clinical trial assistants or regulatory coordinators at the entry level. Volunteering or interning at local specialty clinics or hospital outpatient research sites builds the hands-on exposure those employers want. Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice guidelines and any EDC or CTMS software gives entry-level candidates a concrete edge over applicants without clinical exposure.
Which industries hire the most clinical research assistants in Irving?
The sectors hiring the most clinical research assistants in Irving are Science & Research, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Irving's position as a corporate headquarters hub for pharmaceutical services and medical device companies within the broader DFW metro drives consistent demand across those sectors.
