About the Platform MDL (Markets Data Lake) is the strategic data mesh for CIB Markets — connecting data producers and consumers across the firm to enable data-driven decision making at scale. The platform is evolving beyond data infrastructure into an intelligent analytics platform, integrating AI-powered capabilities, agentic workflows, and conversational analytics to serve a growing ecosystem of internal clients.
Role Overview
As a Product Manager at the Vice President level, you will own end-to-end product delivery for one or more areas of the MDL platform. You will act as the voice of the customer — working backwards from real user outcomes to define what gets built, why, and what success looks like. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, data engineering, and AI — translating complex platform capabilities into tangible value for stakeholders across CIB Markets. This is your opportunity to work at the heart of our #1 ranked Markets franchise, building AI-first technology solutions to maximize value from data.
Job Responsibilities
- Shapes and advocates for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned MDL capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the platform's evolution toward a data mesh and AI ecosystem.
- Act as a hands-on product leader who can move from strategy to execution — shaping product direction while also creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts that validate user needs, demonstrate business value, and de-risk production delivery.
- Work backwards from customer outcomes to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and deliverables — from discovery through launch and post-release measurement.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog; define scope and milestones in partnership with engineering and delivery. Translate priorities into clear, outcome-driven work.
- Partner with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and senior stakeholders to define scope, agree on success criteria, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Lead product management for AI-powered capabilities — including LLM-based tools, agentic workflows, and conversational analytics — from concept through production.
- Define and track KPIs and adoption metrics; use data to continuously re-evaluate priorities and improve platform impact.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments proactively — escalate early, resolve fast.
- Ensure successful launches through documentation, training, and stakeholder communications.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven track record leading product management for data platforms or technical software at scale; acts as the senior product voice in cross-functional settings.
- Deep customer voice — represents end user needs with conviction; distinguishes what users ask for from what they actually need.
- Strong command of discovery and prioritization frameworks; working backwards methodology experience preferred. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional communication — makes complex topics legible for diverse audiences, from engineers to MD-level business partners.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Databricks (required); Snowflake a plus. Experience managing AI/ML products in production — LLMs, agentic systems, or data-driven automation.
- Technical depth in data environments; Python and/or PySpark familiarity a plus.
- CIB Markets domain knowledge — understanding of front office, trading, and markets workflows; familiarity with quant or market data consumption patterns is a strong plus.

Clinical Technology Specialist Jobs in Jersey City: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a clinical technology specialist job in Jersey City?
Jersey City's strongest hiring comes from health systems, medical device companies, and life sciences firms clustered in the Newport and Harborside corridors, with additional roles tied to the large hospital networks just across the Hudson. Candidates who stand out combine hands-on device support or clinical informatics experience with familiarity with the specific platforms those employer types rely on. Networking through clinical and biomedical technology associations active in the greater metro area also gives a genuine edge here.
Which companies hire clinical technology specialists in Jersey City?
Employers hiring clinical technology specialists in Jersey City right now include JPMorganChase, Citi, and MUFG, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Jersey City's mix of health system affiliates, medical device regional offices, and life sciences support operations makes it a consistent market for this role.
Are there remote clinical technology specialist jobs in Jersey City?
Yes, but with limits, since clinical technology specialist work often requires on-site device support, lab access, or direct clinical interaction. About 21% of clinical technology specialist openings tied to Jersey City are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with remote arrangements most common for roles focused on software configuration, data analysis, or vendor-side technical support rather than direct patient-environment work.
How can I get a clinical technology specialist job in Jersey City with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Jersey City is targeting biomedical technician or clinical systems support roles at the region's hospital networks and device company field offices, which regularly hire candidates coming out of clinical technology or biomedical engineering programs. Entry-level vendor support and implementation associate positions at medical device firms operating out of the Harborside and Newport districts are also strong starting points. A strong foundation in clinical software platforms or biomedical equipment troubleshooting, even from an internship or clinical rotation, meaningfully improves your candidacy.
