Entry Level Cloud Sales Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level cloud sales engineer job?
Employers at this level look for candidates who can demonstrate familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, even through personal projects, coursework, or internships. A cloud certification (such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Associate Cloud Engineer) signals initiative and technical fluency. Pairing that with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn a sales motion gives entry level candidates a clear edge in the hiring process.
Which companies hire entry level cloud sales engineers?
Companies hiring entry level cloud sales engineers right now include Google, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Deloitte, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a range of employers, including cloud hyperscalers, managed service providers, and technology vendors building out their sales teams with junior talent.
Are there remote entry level cloud sales engineer jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and role type. About 23% of entry level cloud sales engineer openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, meaning candidates outside major tech hubs can still compete for these positions. Some roles require occasional on-site presence for client meetings or team training, so check individual listings for the exact arrangement.
Are these new grad cloud sales engineer jobs?
Yes, the roles listed here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior cloud sales engineer positions. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes candidates with zero to two years of experience and may accept internships, academic projects, or cloud certifications in place of full-time work history. Look for language like 'entry level,' 'new grad,' or 'training provided' in the job description as a signal the employer is open to candidates early in their careers.
Which industries hire the most entry level cloud sales engineers?
Entry Level cloud sales engineer roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Artificial Intelligence, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely heavily on cloud infrastructure and need junior sales engineers who can support technical evaluations, assist account teams, and help customers understand product fit.
