Entry Level Email Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level email marketing manager job?
Employers at this level look for hands-on proof of skill over years of experience. Build a portfolio showing real campaigns, even from class projects, freelance work, or volunteer roles. Familiarity with email platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo, basic segmentation logic, and an understanding of open rates and click-through metrics will give you a clear edge over candidates with no practical work to show.
Which companies hire entry level email marketing managers?
Companies hiring entry level email marketing managers right now include Lokre, Grifols, and Boot Barn, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from fast-growing startups, e-commerce brands, and mid-size companies building out their digital marketing teams for the first time.
Are there remote entry level email marketing manager jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and team setup. About 0% of entry level email marketing manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, which gives early-career candidates the flexibility to apply outside their immediate geography and expand the pool of roles worth pursuing.
Are these new grad email marketing manager jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior email marketing manager roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or freelance projects toward that threshold, or explicitly accepts a strong portfolio in place of a formal work history. Look for language like "entry level" or "recent graduates encouraged to apply" in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level email marketing managers?
Entry Level email marketing manager roles concentrate in Retail, Manufacturing, and Distribution & Wholesale, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors rely heavily on direct-to-consumer communication and repeat customer engagement, which makes email a core channel and creates consistent demand for early-career talent who can own campaigns from day one.
