Entry Level Sales Compensation Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales compensation analyst job?
Employers at this level look for candidates who can demonstrate comfort with spreadsheets, data analysis, and incentive plan logic, even if that experience comes from coursework, internships, or a self-built compensation model. Highlighting familiarity with Excel, SQL, or HRIS tools gives you a real edge. A degree in business, finance, human resources, or economics is a common baseline, though relevant project work or a strong internship can substitute for a traditional resume.
Which companies hire entry level sales compensation analysts?
Companies hiring entry level sales compensation analysts right now include Jobot, Sedgwick, and Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from mid-size and enterprise companies with dedicated sales operations or total rewards teams, as well as fast-growing technology and financial services firms building out their compensation functions.
Are there remote entry level sales compensation analyst jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and team structure. About 43% of entry level sales compensation analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, which means a meaningful share of roles still expect on-site presence, particularly at companies where compensation teams work closely with HR and finance in the office.
Are these new grad sales compensation analyst jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or academic projects toward eligibility, or accepts a portfolio demonstrating compensation analysis skills in place of full-time work history. Searching for titles that include "associate" or "junior" alongside "sales compensation analyst" surfaces more of these entry-level-welcoming openings.
Which industries hire the most entry level sales compensation analysts?
Entry Level sales compensation analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Law & Legal Services, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to maintain large, quota-driven sales teams whose incentive structures require dedicated analysts to design, model, and administer compensation plans, creating consistent demand for entry level talent even early in a candidate's career.
