Align your credentials to U.S. clinical standards
If your Healthcare credentials were issued outside the U.S., get them evaluated by a NACES-approved agency before applying. Acentra Health operates in managed care and government health programs where specific U.S. licensure or certification equivalency directly affects your eligibility for many roles.
Target Acentra's government program-facing teams
Acentra Health's work spans Medicaid, Medicare, and state health agency contracts. Roles tied to these programs often require specialized knowledge that's harder to fill domestically, which increases the likelihood that the hiring team is open to sponsorship conversations early in the process.
Use Migrate Mate to find active Healthcare openings
Filter by Healthcare roles at Acentra Health on Migrate Mate to see only positions where sponsorship has been confirmed. This saves you from applying to openings that exclude international candidates before you even reach the hiring manager.
Account for USCIS processing time in your start date
If you're applying as a cap-subject H-1B, the April lottery window and October 1 start date are fixed. Build that into negotiations with Acentra Health's recruiting team so your projected start date is realistic and doesn't create a gap in your current status.
Document health IT or interoperability experience precisely
Acentra Health operates at the intersection of clinical work and technology platforms. On your resume and in interviews, be specific about systems you've worked with, such as care management platforms or state health information exchanges, rather than listing broad clinical experience.

Find Healthcare at Acentra Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Acentra Health sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, Acentra Health has sponsored H-1B visas for Healthcare roles. The company works across government-administered health programs, where specialized clinical and health technology expertise creates genuine sponsorship needs. If you're on OPT or a current H-1B, it's worth confirming with the recruiter whether the specific role you're targeting is approved for cap-subject sponsorship, since not every position is.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Acentra Health?
Applications go through Acentra Health's careers portal, where Healthcare roles are listed by function and program area. Before applying, review the job description carefully for any language about work authorization requirements. Migrate Mate also surfaces Acentra Health Healthcare openings filtered for visa sponsorship, which helps you prioritize roles where international candidates are explicitly considered.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare roles at Acentra Health?
H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant visa for Healthcare positions at Acentra Health, particularly for roles that require a specialized degree in a clinical, health informatics, or public health field. Acentra Health has also supported Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories via the PERM labor certification process for longer-term employees in qualifying roles.
What qualifications does Acentra Health typically expect for Healthcare roles?
Acentra Health's Healthcare roles generally require a relevant degree in nursing, public health, health administration, health informatics, or a related clinical field, depending on the position. Roles supporting government contracts may also expect familiarity with Medicaid or Medicare program operations. Licensure requirements vary by role and state, so confirm those details in the job posting before applying.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for a Healthcare role at Acentra Health?
If you need a new H-1B cap-subject filing, registrations open each March and the employment start date is October 1 of that year. That means you'll need an offer from Acentra Health by late February to meet the registration window. If you're transferring an existing H-1B, USCIS portability rules allow you to start work once the petition is filed, without waiting for approval.
