Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Nursing Jobs at Acentra Health Jobs
Align Your Credentials to U.S. Standards Early
Acentra Health hires for clinical roles tied to government health contracts, so NCLEX licensure and a CGFNS credential evaluation are non-negotiable. Get your foreign nursing credentials assessed before you apply to avoid delays at the offer stage.
Target Care Management and Utilization Review Openings
Acentra Health's nursing roles skew toward care coordination, utilization review, and clinical quality functions rather than bedside care. Tailor your resume to highlight case management experience or prior work in managed care or government health programs.
Confirm State Licensure Before the Offer Closes
Many Acentra Health nursing positions are remote but require licensure in specific states tied to their government contracts. Identify which states their open roles require and initiate the endorsement process before you receive a formal offer, not after.
Understand the EB-3 Schedule A Advantage
Registered nurses qualify under DOL's Schedule A shortage occupation list, which means Acentra Health can skip the PERM labor market test for Green Card sponsorship. This significantly shortens the employer's sponsorship burden and can accelerate your permanent residence timeline.
Ask About H-1B Timing During the Offer Stage
If you need H-1B sponsorship, raise the topic before signing an offer letter. The USCIS cap-subject H-1B lottery opens in March for an October 1 start date. Confirm whether Acentra Health can time your start date around the filing window or bridge your status in the interim.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Sponsorship-Confirmed Openings
Filter nursing roles at verified sponsoring employers rather than cold-applying to companies without a sponsorship track record. Migrate Mate lets you search Acentra Health's current nursing openings alongside their sponsorship history so you apply where the path is already established.

Find Nursing at Acentra Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Acentra Health sponsor H-1B visas for Nurses?
Yes, Acentra Health has a history of sponsoring H-1B visas for nursing roles. Because these positions support government health programs, the company has infrastructure for employment-based sponsorship. If you're applying on H-1B status, confirm the role's start date aligns with the USCIS fiscal year cap timeline, which runs October 1 through September 30.
How do I apply for Nursing jobs at Acentra Health?
Search Acentra Health's nursing openings directly through their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles at employers with confirmed sponsorship histories. When you apply, highlight clinical experience relevant to care management, utilization review, or government health programs. Address your visa status clearly in your application so recruiters can route you to the right sponsorship conversation early.
Which visa types does Acentra Health commonly use for Nursing roles?
Acentra Health sponsors both H-1B nonimmigrant visas and employment-based immigrant visas, primarily EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. Registered nurses benefit from DOL's Schedule A shortage occupation designation, which allows employers to pursue EB-3 sponsorship without completing a full PERM labor market test. This makes the Green Card pathway more accessible for nurses than for most other occupations.
What qualifications does Acentra Health expect for sponsored Nursing positions?
Most Acentra Health nursing roles require active U.S. RN licensure, which means passing the NCLEX and holding a valid license in the relevant state. For international applicants, a CGFNS credential evaluation is typically required to verify that your foreign nursing degree meets U.S. equivalency standards. Experience in care management, clinical documentation, or government health programs strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Nursing role at Acentra Health?
Timeline depends on the visa type. H-1B sponsorship follows USCIS's annual cap cycle, with petitions filed in April and employment starting October 1 at the earliest. For EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through Schedule A, the process bypasses PERM but still involves USCIS petition filing and, for most nationalities, waiting through visa backlogs tracked in the DOS Visa Bulletin. Plan for a multi-year process for permanent residence.
