Target roles in operations and engineering
American Fuji Seal's core business involves manufacturing support and packaging technology, so sponsored roles tend to sit in technical and operations-focused functions. Focus your search on engineering, process improvement, and technical support positions to align with where sponsorship is most likely.
Understand the H-1B timeline before applying
American Fuji Seal has sponsored H-1B visas, which means navigating the annual lottery and USCIS processing windows. Apply early enough that any offer can accommodate the April registration period and October start date built into the H-1B cap cycle.
Leverage F-1 OPT and CPT as a foot in the door
American Fuji Seal sponsors both F-1 OPT and CPT, which means they're open to hiring international students. Starting in a student work authorization capacity is a practical way to build a track record internally before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
Highlight cross-functional technical skills in your application
In the Business Support and Outsourcing industry, employers value candidates who can bridge operational and technical functions. Emphasize skills like process optimization, quality systems, or supply chain management to strengthen your case for a sponsored role at American Fuji Seal.
Confirm sponsorship willingness early in the process
Not every open role at American Fuji Seal will come with sponsorship. Raise your visa requirements respectfully but directly during initial recruiter conversations. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history before investing time in any application.
Consider TN status if you're Canadian or Mexican
American Fuji Seal sponsors TN visas, which is a faster and simpler pathway for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. If you hold citizenship in either country, confirm whether your target role qualifies under TN occupational categories before pursuing H-1B.
