Target engineering and hardware design roles first
Ampere Computing's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines. Chip architecture, silicon design, firmware, and systems software roles are where the company invests most heavily in sponsored talent, focus your applications there.
Understand that Ampere sponsors both temporary and permanent visas
Ampere has a track record with both H-1B and Green Card sponsorship, including EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. This signals long-term investment in sponsored employees, ask recruiters early about the company's policy on permanent residency support.
Highlight processor or cloud infrastructure experience in your application
Ampere builds Arm-based processors specifically for cloud workloads. Candidates who demonstrate relevant experience in cloud computing, data center architecture, or semiconductor design align most directly with what Ampere's hiring teams are evaluating.
Apply early, sponsorship decisions are made during the offer stage
