Responsibilities:
- Final review of client accounts before transmission to Accounting team
- Onboard new clients, both known and new concepts
- Training and development of staff
- Assist team members with questions, training and general understanding
- Automation troubleshooting Champion
- Test and implement new processes
- Take lead on special projects as needed for department and firm
- Provide backup when needed
- Assist team leaders with various team metrics and goals
- Assist team leaders with staff review process
- Continually learn new skills and share knowledge and trends with others
- Ensure that all work and tasks are compliant with bookkeeping standards
- Monitor tasks and projects through workflow management tool to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and prior to deadlines
- Champion team, department and firm initiatives
- Continually seek opportunities for process improvements, which may lead to championing certain firm projects
- Engage fully with offshore team members including training, collaboration and utilization of offshore capabilities and capacity
- Other duties as may be assigned
