Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Finance Manager Jobs at KPMG Jobs
Earn your CPA before applying
KPMG's Finance Manager postings consistently list CPA licensure as a requirement, not a preference. Having it in hand before you apply removes a common objection hiring managers raise when evaluating sponsored candidates against unlicensed domestic applicants.
Target service line hiring cycles strategically
KPMG ramps Finance Manager hiring around its September fiscal year-end and post-busy-season windows in May and June. Applying during these peaks puts your application in front of teams actively building headcount rather than backfilling opportunistically.
Distinguish your sponsorship type during offer negotiation
KPMG sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for this role. If you're Australian, explicitly flag E-3 eligibility early in the offer stage. It moves faster than the H-1B cap process and removes lottery uncertainty, which often makes the hiring decision easier for your sponsor.
Understand how PERM affects your long-term planning
For Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, KPMG must demonstrate through DOL's PERM process that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Finance Manager is a competitive role internally, so PERM recruitment timelines can extend your total green card timeline by a year or more.
Search Finance Manager roles on Migrate Mate
KPMG posts Finance Manager openings across multiple offices simultaneously, and not all listings are equally active. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for KPMG Finance Manager roles by visa type and location so you're applying to positions where sponsorship has actually been extended for this function.
Frame your client-facing experience in your application materials
KPMG Finance Manager roles within professional services require managing client deliverables alongside internal reporting. Highlighting prior experience in client-service environments, rather than pure corporate finance, signals fit with the firm's model and reduces hesitation around the sponsorship investment.

Find Finance Manager at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Finance Managers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Finance Manager roles. Because this is a cap-subject visa, sponsorship depends on USCIS lottery selection each April, with an October 1 start date if selected. KPMG's size and established immigration infrastructure mean the firm is well-equipped to manage the petition process, but lottery timing should factor into your offer and start date planning.
How do I apply for Finance Manager jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal, where Finance Manager postings are listed by service line and office location. You can also find and filter active KPMG Finance Manager openings by visa type on Migrate Mate, which helps you identify which listings are open to sponsored candidates. Tailor your application to the specific practice area, since audit, tax, and advisory Finance Manager roles have meaningfully different scopes.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use to sponsor Finance Managers?
KPMG sponsors Finance Managers on H-1B visas for most international candidates and E-3 visas for Australian citizens, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. For longer-term permanent residence, KPMG also initiates EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL, typically after a candidate has been with the firm for some time.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for a sponsored Finance Manager role?
Expect a requirement for a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, with CPA licensure strongly preferred or required depending on the practice. Most Finance Manager postings at KPMG reflect an expectation of several years of progressive experience in audit, financial reporting, or management accounting, ideally within a professional services or large corporate environment. Relevant technical skills in financial systems and consolidation tools are commonly listed.
How do I think about timing when pursuing a sponsored Finance Manager role at KPMG?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS lottery registration typically opens in early March for an October 1 work start date, so your offer and petition filing need to be in place well before then. E-3 candidates have more flexibility since there's no lottery, though consular processing or change-of-status filings still add several weeks. For either pathway, engaging KPMG's HR and immigration team early in the offer process is essential to align your start date with petition timelines.
