Frame Your PMP Credentials for Consulting Contexts
KPMG evaluates project management experience through a client-service lens. Highlight cross-functional program delivery, stakeholder management across business units, and budget oversight on engagements rather than internal operational projects.
Target KPMG's Advisory and Deal Advisory Practices
Senior project management hiring at KPMG is concentrated in Advisory, Deal Advisory, and Transformation practices. Applications routed through these service lines reach hiring managers who regularly work with immigration counsel for sponsored roles.
Confirm E-3 Eligibility Before Accepting an Offer
Australian citizens should confirm whether the role is classified as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards before offer acceptance. KPMG's legal team will need to document that the position requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
Build a Petition-Ready Employment History File
USCIS H-1B petitions require precise documentation of prior employment dates, job duties, and degree equivalency. Gather official transcripts, employer verification letters, and a detailed role-by-role duty breakdown before your offer letter stage.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active KPMG Openings
KPMG posts Senior Project Management roles across multiple practice areas and locations, making it hard to track which are open to sponsored candidates. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for KPMG roles that accept visa sponsorship.

Find Senior Project Management at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Project Managements?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Senior Project Management roles, particularly within its Advisory and Transformation practices. The sponsorship process involves KPMG's in-house immigration team filing a Labor Condition Application with DOL and then submitting the H-1B petition to USCIS. Roles must qualify as specialty occupations, which generally requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as project management, business, or engineering.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Senior Project Management roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas as the primary nonimmigrant pathway for Senior Project Management hires. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, which bypasses the H-1B lottery and allows for two-year renewable status. For permanent residence, KPMG supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification filed with DOL, typically initiated after a candidate has established a track record within the firm.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for Senior Project Management roles?
KPMG typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field, along with several years of project management experience in a professional services or consulting environment. PMP certification is valued but not always required. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements in accounting, audit, or advisory contexts is a strong differentiator. KPMG's specialty occupation requirement for visa purposes means your degree must align directly with the role's duties.
How do I apply for Senior Project Management jobs at KPMG?
You can browse and apply for KPMG's Senior Project Management openings directly through their careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters for visa-sponsorship-eligible roles at KPMG. Tailor your application to the specific practice area, whether Advisory, Deal Advisory, or Transformation, since hiring expectations and sponsorship processes differ across KPMG's service lines. Connecting with KPMG recruiters on professional networks before applying can also help you confirm sponsorship availability for a specific role.
How do I plan around KPMG's H-1B sponsorship timeline as a new hire?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year, with an October 1 employment start date for cap-subject petitions. If you receive an offer outside this window, KPMG may explore cap-exempt options or use OPT or E-3 status to bridge the gap. Discussing timing with KPMG's immigration team early, ideally at the offer stage, ensures your start date and visa filing deadlines are aligned and avoids gaps in authorized work status.
