Frame your PMP around industrial delivery
Schneider Electric's project management roles focus on energy systems, data center builds, and manufacturing site rollouts. Tailor your resume to show delivery experience in capital-intensive, multi-stakeholder environments rather than generic software or consulting projects.
Target roles with infrastructure scope early
Senior PM openings tied to grid modernization or industrial automation tend to involve longer project timelines, which strengthens the employer's case for sponsoring a multi-year visa. Filter Schneider Electric's job board for roles listing EPC or capital project responsibilities.
Get your credentials evaluated before applying
If your engineering or project management degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency. Schneider Electric's H-1B petitions require USCIS to confirm your degree meets specialty occupation standards for the specific PM role.
Understand how E-3 fits your situation
If you're an Australian citizen, Schneider Electric's E-3 sponsorship pathway bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. The E-3 requires a Labor Condition Application filed with DOL before your visa interview, so confirm your offer letter is in place before that process starts.
Clarify sponsorship scope during offer negotiation
Ask specifically whether the offer includes Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, not just an initial H-1B. For senior PM roles at a company with active PERM filings, this distinction matters significantly for your long-term U.S. work authorization planning.
Use Migrate Mate to find active openings
Schneider Electric posts Senior PM roles across multiple U.S. regions with varying sponsorship scope. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Schneider Electric positions that list visa sponsorship, so you're not spending time on roles that won't support your immigration needs.

Find Senior Project Management at Schneider Electric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Schneider Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Project Managements?
Yes, Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for Senior Project Management roles. These positions typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards because they require at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field. Sponsorship is most common for roles tied to infrastructure, energy systems, or industrial project delivery where specialized expertise is central to the position.
Which visa types does Schneider Electric commonly use for Senior Project Management roles?
Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for most international hires in project management functions, along with E-3 visas for Australian citizens. For longer-term pathways, the company also pursues PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. The right category depends on your nationality, education level, and the specific role's requirements as evaluated by USCIS and DOL.
What qualifications does Schneider Electric expect for Senior Project Management roles?
Schneider Electric generally looks for a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline, combined with substantial project management experience in manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure sectors. PMP certification strengthens your application. Roles often require demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, capital budgets, and complex multi-site delivery in industrial or utility environments.
How do I apply for Senior Project Management jobs at Schneider Electric?
Start by identifying active Senior Project Management openings at Schneider Electric that explicitly support visa sponsorship, since not every posting includes it. You can browse current listings filtered by sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. Once you identify a relevant role, apply through Schneider Electric's careers portal and address your visa status directly when asked, as this helps route your application to the right hiring team.
How do I plan my timeline around Schneider Electric's H-1B sponsorship process?
H-1B cap-subject filings open in March each year for an October 1 start date, so your offer and petition preparation need to be complete before that window. If you're selected in the lottery, USCIS processing takes several months after filing. For roles not subject to the cap, such as transfers from cap-exempt employers, timelines can move faster. Align your job search to have an offer in hand by February if you're targeting the annual lottery.
