Frame your credentials around KPMG's service lines
KPMG hires Business Managers into specific practices: audit, tax, advisory, and deals. Tailor your resume to the service line you're targeting. Generic management experience won't stand out; quantified client engagement or practice operations experience will.
Target KPMG's office locations strategically
KPMG's Business Manager openings cluster in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Houston. Applying to offices with the highest posting volume improves your chances of landing an interview before headcount freezes hit mid-fiscal year.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Business Manager openings
KPMG's careers portal updates frequently but buries older postings. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Business Manager roles at KPMG that explicitly flag visa sponsorship, so you're applying to live, relevant positions rather than evergreen listings.
Understand how KPMG structures LCA filings for Business Managers
KPMG files Labor Condition Applications with DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition moves forward. The LCA certifies your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for your specific KPMG office location, not a national average, so salary can vary by city.
Align your green card timeline with KPMG's PERM process
KPMG typically initiates PERM sponsorship for Business Managers after a defined tenure period. Confirm internally whether your role is eligible for EB-2 or EB-3 classification early, since India-born candidates face significantly longer priority date backlogs under EB-3.

Find Business Manager at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Business Manager roles. The firm has established immigration infrastructure and works with outside counsel to manage petitions. H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual cap and lottery, so your start date will typically be October 1 of the fiscal year following selection. Confirming sponsorship eligibility with your recruiter before the offer stage is the best practice.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at KPMG?
Apply directly through KPMG's careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which surfaces KPMG Business Manager roles filtered by visa sponsorship availability. Tailor your application to the specific service line, such as audit, advisory, or tax, rather than submitting a generic management resume. KPMG's hiring process typically includes recruiter screens, panel interviews, and a case or competency assessment depending on the practice.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Business Manager roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for most international Business Manager hires. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, which avoids the lottery and allows faster start dates. For longer-term permanent residence, KPMG supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through the PERM labor certification process, typically after the employee has been with the firm for some time.
What qualifications are expected for Business Manager roles at KPMG?
KPMG's Business Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, and several years of relevant experience in professional services or a client-facing management capacity. For H-1B and E-3 eligibility, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a direct connection between your degree field and the job duties is required and documented in your petition.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline after receiving a KPMG offer?
If you're pursuing an H-1B, KPMG will register you in the March lottery for an October 1 start. If selected, the firm files the full petition by June. For E-3 applicants, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL first, then you attend a consular interview in Australia. The E-3 process can move faster than H-1B, often completing within four to eight weeks of the LCA being certified.
