Frame your cloud skills around audit infrastructure
KPMG's cloud teams support regulated data environments, not just general DevOps. Highlight experience with compliance-driven architectures, data governance, or cloud security frameworks that align with accounting and auditing workloads.
Target KPMG's advisory and technology practice lines
Cloud Engineer openings at KPMG sit across different service lines. Roles in the Advisory or KPMG Ignition practices tend to sponsor visas more frequently than shared-services IT positions, so filter your applications accordingly.
Get your certifications documented before applying
KPMG's hiring process for Cloud Engineers moves faster when your AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are current and verifiable. Have digital credential links ready before your first recruiter screen, not after an offer is extended.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles with sponsorship
Cloud Engineer positions at KPMG are posted across multiple practice areas and regions at any given time. Use Migrate Mate to filter active openings by visa type so you're only targeting roles where sponsorship is confirmed.

Find Cloud Engineer at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Cloud Engineers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Cloud Engineer roles. The H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, with registration typically opening in March and the cap year beginning October 1. If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, KPMG can file a transfer petition outside the lottery cycle, which significantly simplifies the process.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Cloud Engineer roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for Cloud Engineers, as well as employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which has a dedicated annual allocation that has never been exhausted, making it a more predictable path than the H-1B lottery.
What qualifications and experience does KPMG expect for Cloud Engineer roles?
Most Cloud Engineer roles at KPMG require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related engineering field, alongside hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Certifications from those providers strengthen your application. Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments is a particular advantage given KPMG's accounting and audit context.
How do I apply for Cloud Engineer jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal, but roles are spread across service lines and geographies, which makes finding the right posting time-consuming. Migrate Mate aggregates KPMG's open Cloud Engineer positions and filters them by visa sponsorship type, so you can identify relevant openings without manually scanning multiple pages. Tailor your resume to reflect the specific practice line you're targeting.
How do I plan my timeline if KPMG offers me sponsorship as a Cloud Engineer?
Timeline depends on your visa type. An E-3 can be processed at a U.S. consulate in a matter of weeks once your employer files the Labor Condition Application with the DOL. An H-1B transfer for someone already in status can take two to four months with regular processing, or faster with premium processing. For new H-1B cap filings, employment typically can't begin before October 1 of that fiscal year.
