Target roles that align with Arcadia's academic mission
Arcadia's sponsorship activity is concentrated in roles that support its academic and administrative operations. Focus your applications on faculty, research, student services, and international program positions where H-1B sponsorship is most commonly extended.
Understand Arcadia's H-1B sponsorship process
Arcadia sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles, meaning the position must meet specialty occupation standards. Before applying, confirm your degree field aligns directly with the role, a mismatch here is the most common reason sponsorship falls through in higher education hiring.
Apply early in Arcadia's hiring cycle
Universities like Arcadia typically hire on an academic calendar. Faculty and administrative roles often open in fall and winter for the following academic year. Applying early gives HR time to initiate the LCA and H-1B petition well ahead of USCIS deadlines.
Highlight international experience in your application
Arcadia emphasizes global education as a core institutional value. Candidates with international academic credentials, cross-cultural research experience, or multilingual skills are well-positioned, this context signals genuine fit beyond just technical qualifications.
Search verified sponsors before applying broadly
Not every university actively sponsors visas, knowing Arcadia does saves you time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on employers who have actually filed H-1B petitions.
Engage Arcadia's international office during your job search
Arcadia's Office of International Student and Scholar Services handles visa matters for employees. Reaching out through official channels before an offer shows initiative and helps you understand the institution's internal sponsorship workflow before negotiations begin.

Does Arcadia University sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Arcadia University sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying positions. As a private university with a global focus, Arcadia has an established track record of filing H-1B petitions for faculty, administrative staff, and specialized professional roles. The position must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field directly related to the job duties.
What types of roles at Arcadia University are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Visa sponsorship at Arcadia University tends to concentrate in academic and specialized administrative roles, think tenure-track and visiting faculty positions, academic advisors with specialized credentials, international program coordinators, and roles in student affairs or research. Positions requiring subject-matter expertise in a defined field are strongest candidates for H-1B sponsorship, as they most clearly meet specialty occupation criteria.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Arcadia University?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to browse verified open roles at employers with confirmed H-1B sponsorship histories like Arcadia University. Rather than guessing which postings offer sponsorship, you can filter directly by employer and visa type. Arcadia also posts openings on its own careers portal, but cross-referencing with a platform that tracks real sponsorship activity saves significant time.
What is the typical H-1B application timeline when hired by Arcadia University?
Once Arcadia extends a job offer, the sponsorship process begins with the employer filing a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, which typically takes one to two weeks when certified. After LCA approval, Arcadia submits the H-1B petition to USCIS. For cap-subject petitions, timing depends on the April lottery. Cap-exempt university employees may file year-round, with standard processing taking two to six months.
Does Arcadia University sponsor Green Cards for employees?
Arcadia University's publicly available sponsorship activity is primarily concentrated in H-1B visas. Green Card sponsorship in higher education does occur, particularly through the EB-1B category for outstanding professors and researchers or the EB-2 PERM process, but it is less common and typically initiated after an employee has been with the institution for some time. Ask directly during the offer stage about Arcadia's policy on permanent residency support.
