Focus on ministry, education, and administrative roles
The Archdiocese of Denver's sponsored positions typically sit in pastoral, educational, and organizational functions. Target roles where specialized skills or advanced degrees are required, these are most likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship within a religious organization.
Understand the religious organization context
Nonprofits and religious employers like the Archdiocese often have longer internal approval processes before extending offers. Build relationships early through networking with parish staff or diocesan administrators, as many roles are filled through mission-aligned community connections.
Emphasize mission alignment in your application
The Archdiocese prioritizes candidates who demonstrate commitment to Catholic values and community service. Framing your professional background around mission-driven impact, not just technical skills, significantly strengthens your candidacy for sponsored positions.
Time your application around the H-1B cap cycle
Since the Archdiocese sponsors H-1B visas, roles requiring sponsorship must align with the April lottery window. Engage with their hiring team well in advance, ideally by January or February, to allow time for petition preparation before the filing deadline.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history before applying
Before investing time in an application, confirm the Archdiocese's sponsorship track record is real. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by actual sponsorship history and focus your energy on employers who have followed through.

Find Archdiocese of Denver JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Archdiocese of Denver sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, the Archdiocese of Denver does sponsor H-1B visas. It has a consistent sponsorship history within the religious organization sector, supporting skilled professionals in qualifying specialty occupation roles. Sponsorship is not offered for every position, so candidates should confirm visa support directly with the diocesan HR team during the hiring process.
What visa types does Archdiocese of Denver sponsor?
The Archdiocese of Denver sponsors H-1B visas and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for international students. It does not have a track record of Green Card or E-3 sponsorship. International candidates on F-1 status may find OPT or CPT a practical starting point before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship in a longer-term role.
Which departments or roles at Archdiocese of Denver are most likely to offer visa sponsorship?
Sponsored roles at the Archdiocese of Denver tend to be concentrated in areas requiring specialized credentials, such as education, pastoral ministry, social services, and organizational administration. Positions that demand a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, the standard for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility, are the strongest candidates for sponsorship consideration.
How do I find open jobs at Archdiocese of Denver that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search Migrate Mate, which aggregates verified sponsoring employers so you can filter specifically for organizations with a real sponsorship history like the Archdiocese of Denver. Checking the Archdiocese's own careers page directly and reaching out to their HR department to confirm sponsorship availability before applying is also strongly recommended.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting Archdiocese of Denver for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date, so you need to have an offer and completed paperwork well before then. For a religious organization like the Archdiocese, internal approvals can take longer than at corporate employers. Begin conversations with their hiring team no later than January to allow sufficient time for legal preparation and petition filing.
