Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Product Engineer Jobs at Arista Networks Jobs
Align your portfolio with EOS development
Arista's Product Engineer roles center on their Extensible Operating System. Documenting hands-on experience with network protocol implementation, kernel development, or distributed systems gives your application a direct hook into what their hiring teams are evaluating.
Verify your OPT start date before applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your EAD card arrival and authorized start date before accepting any offer. Arista's onboarding timelines are firm, and starting work even one day before your EAD is valid creates an unauthorized employment record.
Research Arista's LCA filings on DOL's database
The Department of Labor's OFLC disclosure data lists every LCA Arista has filed by job title and worksite. Searching for Product Engineer roles shows you which office locations they sponsor from, helping you target the right site during your application.
Clarify H-1B filing timing during the offer stage
Ask your Arista recruiter whether they file H-1B petitions with or without premium processing, and whether they cover that cost. USCIS premium processing guarantees a 15-business-day adjudication, which matters if your OPT or cap-gap period has a tight expiration window.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Product Engineer roles
Search Migrate Mate to browse current Product Engineer openings at Arista filtered by visa type. This saves time by surfacing only roles where sponsorship has been confirmed, letting you focus your outreach on positions already matched to your authorization needs.
Prepare credentials for PERM before your second year
Arista sponsors Green Card applications through PERM-based EB-2 and EB-3 pathways for Product Engineers. Gather your official degree transcripts and employer verification letters early, since the PERM process requires detailed documentation of your qualifications before DOL filing begins.

Find Product Engineer at Arista Networks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arista Networks sponsor H-1B visas for Product Engineers?
Yes, Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas for Product Engineer roles. The company files petitions through the annual USCIS cap lottery each April, with an October 1 start date for selected candidates. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, Arista can file an H-1B transfer, which is not subject to the cap and can take effect immediately upon filing.
How do I apply for Product Engineer jobs at Arista Networks?
Apply directly through Arista's careers portal, where Product Engineer roles are listed by team and location. Tailor your resume to emphasize systems programming, network operating system experience, or relevant protocol work. Roles at Arista are technically rigorous, so expect a multi-round interview process covering coding, system design, and networking fundamentals before any offer is extended.
Which visa types does Arista Networks commonly use for Product Engineers?
Arista sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Product Engineer positions, along with Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 PERM pathways for longer-term employees. TN sponsorship is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and current immigration status. You can browse open roles filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate.
What qualifications does Arista Networks expect for Product Engineer roles?
Arista typically looks for a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or a closely related field. Strong experience with C or C++ programming, Linux internals, and networking protocols like BGP, OSPF, or VXLAN is common across their Product Engineer postings. Candidates with prior exposure to network operating systems or distributed infrastructure tend to advance further in the interview process.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Product Engineer offer at Arista Networks?
Timeline depends heavily on your current status. F-1 OPT candidates can start within weeks of an offer if their EAD is valid. H-1B transfers process in 15 business days with premium processing. New H-1B cap filings require waiting until the following October 1 start date, which can mean a gap of several months after the April lottery. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship typically takes two or more years from initiation.
