How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Aurora Innovation Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in autonomous systems and software engineering

Does Aurora Innovation sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Aurora Innovation does not have a recent history of H-1B filings. Their sponsorship activity has focused on permanent residency pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories, as well as F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. International candidates should factor this in when assessing Aurora as a sponsorship target.
What visa types does Aurora Innovation sponsor?
Aurora Innovation sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas for permanent residency, along with F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for international students. Canadian citizens may also be eligible for TN sponsorship in qualifying science and engineering roles. Their sponsorship portfolio reflects a long-term investment in retaining international talent rather than relying on temporary work visas.
Which departments or roles at Aurora Innovation are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Aurora is most common in highly technical roles tied to their core autonomous vehicle technology, including machine learning research, software engineering, sensor systems, and robotics. Candidates with advanced degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, or related STEM disciplines are the strongest fit for the EB-2 and EB-3 categories Aurora sponsors.
How do I find Aurora Innovation job openings that offer visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate lists Aurora Innovation roles filtered by verified sponsorship history, so you can browse open positions knowing the company has a documented track record. Search for Aurora Innovation directly on Migrate Mate and filter by visa type to identify roles that match your current immigration status, whether you're on OPT, TN, or pursuing a Green Card pathway.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored for a Green Card at Aurora Innovation?
Aurora's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in research-intensive and engineering roles, so the strongest applications connect advanced technical credentials directly to Aurora's autonomous systems work. Starting on F-1 OPT or TN gives you time to demonstrate value before the company initiates PERM labor certification, which is the standard first step toward EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship. Expect the full Green Card process to take several years from initial hire.
