ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements, maintains and documents effective internal controls and processes.
- Identifies and resolves accounting system issues and identifies process improvements.
- Develops new accounting systems and tools.
- Analyzes, interprets, prepares and reconciles financial information.
- Prepares standard and ad hoc internal and external financial reports for management.
- Reviews and analyzes relevant contract terms, conditions and accounting source document.
- Reviews, analyzes and interprets company directives, policies and regulatory requirements.

Position responsibilities:

Processing payroll on a regular basis (e.g., bi-weekly).
- Calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll elements.
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll information in the system.
- Providing training and support to employees on proper time entry procedures and monitoring for timely and accurate timekeeping.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Preparing and submitting payroll tax filings and reports.
- Handling and resolving employee inquiries and discrepancies related to payroll.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Generating and distributing payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Staying updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and administration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Pay Rate Range
- 48 - 53 USD hourly
