Target roles that align with Coforge's core delivery areas
Coforge concentrates its hiring in software engineering, cloud, data, and enterprise technology consulting. Roles in these domains are most likely to come with H-1B or Green Card sponsorship, so focus your applications there rather than peripheral business functions.
Understand that OPT and CPT are real pathways in
Coforge actively hires F-1 students on OPT and CPT, making it a practical entry point if you're early in your U.S. career. Securing a role on OPT gives you time to build internal relationships before H-1B sponsorship becomes the next conversation.
Prepare for a technical-first interview process
As an IT services firm, Coforge evaluates candidates heavily on technical skills, client-facing capability, and domain knowledge. Arrive ready to discuss specific technologies, project delivery experience, and how your background maps to the company's service verticals.
Ask directly about Green Card sponsorship during the offer stage
Coforge has a meaningful track record of sponsoring both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. If permanent residency is part of your long-term plan, the offer negotiation stage is the right moment to understand the company's typical timeline and process for PERM filing.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open roles with verified sponsorship history
Finding an employer that actually sponsors is harder than it looks. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors like Coforge so you can filter by real sponsorship history and apply with confidence rather than guessing from a generic job listing.
Time your application around the H-1B cap season
Coforge sponsors H-1B visas subject to the annual cap, so if you need cap-subject sponsorship, engaging with their recruiting team in the January to March window significantly improves your chances of being included in that year's filing cycle.
Frequently Asked Questions

Coforge sponsors H-1B and TN visas for work authorization, along with Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. The company also hires F-1 students on OPT and CPT, making it accessible at multiple stages of an international professional's U.S. career. Green Card sponsorship is available for employees who demonstrate long-term fit within the organization.
Which roles at Coforge are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Coforge is concentrated in technical and client-delivery roles, particularly software development, cloud and infrastructure, data engineering, and enterprise application consulting. How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Coforge?

How do I approach the application process at Coforge as a visa sponsorship candidate?
Apply to roles that closely match your technical background and be upfront about your visa status early in the process. If you're on OPT, use that period to prove your value internally, as H-1B sponsorship decisions are often shaped by the relationships you build before the cap season deadline.
