Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Accounting Analyst Jobs at CohnReznick Jobs
Align your CPA exam progress early
CohnReznick evaluates Accounting Analyst candidates partly on CPA exam trajectory. Having at least one section passed before you apply signals professional seriousness and reduces employer hesitation about sponsoring someone still building core credentials.
Target CohnReznick's campus recruiting cycle
CohnReznick fills most Accounting Analyst roles through fall campus recruiting for the following summer. Applying through their university program gives you a structured sponsorship conversation earlier than off-cycle applications, where sponsorship decisions are less standardized.
Clarify your OPT start date before the offer stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility with your DSO before salary negotiations. CohnReznick accounting roles at the analyst level often qualify under STEM CIP codes, which buys you up to 24 additional months before H-1B sponsorship is needed.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Accounting Analyst roles
Not every CohnReznick office sponsors at the same pace for Accounting Analyst positions. Use Migrate Mate to identify which current openings are tagged for visa sponsorship so you focus your application on locations actively hiring sponsored candidates.
Ask about H-1B filing timing during final rounds
USCIS H-1B cap registration opens each March for an October 1 start date. If your offer comes after March, your earliest possible H-1B start is October of the following year. Ask HR directly how they bridge that gap, whether through OPT continuation or a deferred start.
Understand the LCA's role in your offer letter
Before CohnReznick can file your H-1B or E-3 petition, DOL must certify a Labor Condition Application confirming your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for your location. If your office assignment changes after the LCA is filed, a new LCA is required.

Find Accounting Analyst at CohnReznick JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does CohnReznick sponsor H-1B visas for Accounting Analysts?
Yes, CohnReznick sponsors H-1B visas for Accounting Analyst roles. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are subject to a lottery with an April registration window and an October 1 start date, timing your offer relative to the USCIS registration cycle matters significantly. Candidates already on OPT or a prior H-1B are better positioned to start work without waiting for the next cap cycle.
How do I apply for Accounting Analyst jobs at CohnReznick?
Applications go through CohnReznick's careers portal, but the most reliable path for sponsored candidates is through their campus recruiting program, which runs each fall at partner universities. You can also browse currently open Accounting Analyst positions with confirmed sponsorship availability on Migrate Mate, which filters CohnReznick listings by visa type so you avoid applying to roles that won't support your situation.
Which visa types does CohnReznick commonly use for Accounting Analyst positions?
CohnReznick supports H-1B, E-3, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Accounting Analyst roles. F-1 OPT is the most common entry point since many analysts are hired straight from university programs. Australian citizens often use the E-3 pathway, which has no lottery and a faster processing timeline than the H-1B cap process.
What qualifications does CohnReznick expect for Accounting Analyst roles?
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field is the baseline requirement, and CohnReznick generally expects candidates to be on track for CPA licensure. For specialty occupation purposes under H-1B or E-3, your degree field must align directly with the accounting analyst role. Candidates from programs accredited by AACSB or equivalent bodies are well positioned.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take once I have an offer from CohnReznick?
Timeline depends heavily on your current status. F-1 OPT candidates can usually start within weeks of an offer if OPT is already authorized. H-1B sponsorship requires DOL LCA certification, which typically takes seven to ten business days, followed by USCIS processing that can run two to five months for regular processing or two to three weeks with premium processing. Factor in the April registration window if you're entering the H-1B cap.
