Align your credentials to CPA-adjacent expectations
CohnReznick's consulting practice sits inside an accounting and auditing firm, so hiring managers expect fluency in financial controls, audit readiness, or transaction advisory. A CPA credential, CFA, or relevant master's degree in accounting strengthens your specialty occupation case for H-1B filings.
Target advisory service lines strategically
CohnReznick's Management Consultant openings cluster in advisory areas like business restructuring, government contracting, and real estate consulting. Applying to postings that match your specific background signals fit and reduces the time a recruiter needs to justify sponsorship internally.
Browse open roles through Migrate Mate
CohnReznick posts Management Consultant roles across multiple office locations and service lines. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for sponsorship-eligible openings so you're not wasting applications on postings where your visa type isn't supported.
Clarify your visa type during the offer stage
CohnReznick sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT, among other classifications. Once you receive an offer, confirm with the HR or immigration team which category your petition will be filed under before the DOL Labor Condition Application process begins, since each category has different lead times.
Start OPT paperwork well before your authorization expires
If you're working on F-1 OPT and targeting a full-time Management Consultant role, the USCIS cap-subject H-1B lottery runs once annually with an April 1 filing window. A gap between OPT expiration and H-1B approval requires a cap-gap bridge, so confirm your status end date early.
Prepare a degree equivalency analysis proactively
CohnReznick's specialty occupation determination for Management Consultant roles often hinges on whether your degree directly correlates to the position. If your credentials are from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation through a NACES-member organization before the employer's immigration counsel requests it.

Does CohnReznick sponsor H-1B visas for Management Consultants?
Yes, CohnReznick sponsors H-1B visas for Management Consultant roles. The firm's advisory and consulting practice lines regularly support petitions for candidates with qualifying degrees in accounting, finance, or related fields. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October start, you'll want to secure your offer well before the registration window opens each March.
Which visa types are commonly used for Management Consultant roles at CohnReznick?
CohnReznick supports several visa categories for this role, including H-1B for most international candidates, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, and F-1 OPT or CPT for students still completing their degrees. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree, and current status. J-1 sponsorship has also been used for exchange-based placements.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Management Consultant roles at CohnReznick?
CohnReznick typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field. Practical experience in audit, advisory, government contracting, or financial analysis is valued. For senior roles, a CPA, CFA, or sector-specific credential strengthens your application significantly. The specialty occupation requirement for visa purposes also depends on this degree-to-role alignment being clearly documented.
How do I apply for Management Consultant jobs at CohnReznick?
You can browse and apply for Management Consultant openings at CohnReznick through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles that support visa sponsorship. Applications typically go through CohnReznick's own careers portal after you identify a fit. Tailor your resume to the specific service line you're targeting, whether that's advisory, restructuring, or government consulting, since hiring is decentralized across practice areas.
How do I time my application to align with CohnReznick's H-1B filing process?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in early March each year for an April 1 filing window and October 1 start date. To fit that cycle, you need an accepted offer by February at the latest. CohnReznick's recruiting for full-time roles often ramps up in the fall for the following year's start, so applying in September through December gives you the best chance of landing an offer in time.
