Frame your CPA credentials for U.S. standards
If you hold an accounting qualification from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation that maps it to a U.S. CPA equivalent. CohnReznick's Development Manager roles sit at the intersection of client services and finance, so demonstrating U.S.-recognized credentials strengthens your application.
Target CohnReznick offices with active development pipelines
CohnReznick staffs Development Managers closest to its growth markets in real estate, private equity, and government contracting. Research which office locations are expanding in those sectors before applying, since sponsorship decisions often follow local hiring budgets.
Browse open roles using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter active Development Manager openings at CohnReznick by visa type. This surfaces roles where sponsorship is confirmed, saving you from applying to positions where international candidates aren't considered.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
Before signing, confirm whether CohnReznick will cover premium processing for your H-1B or E-3 petition. A 60-day grace period sounds generous until an RFE delays your start date, so get the firm's timeline commitments in writing during the offer stage.
Align your specialty occupation case to the role
USCIS requires that H-1B petitions demonstrate the Development Manager role is a specialty occupation requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher. Work with CohnReznick's immigration counsel to document how the advisory and client development duties require specialized accounting or finance expertise.
Account for LCA timing in your start date planning
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your H-1B or E-3 petition. DOL certification typically takes seven business days, so factor that into any negotiated start date to avoid accepting an offer with an unrealistic timeline.

Find Development Manager at CohnReznick JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does CohnReznick sponsor H-1B visas for Development Managers?
Yes, CohnReznick sponsors H-1B visas for Development Manager roles. The firm works with immigration counsel to prepare the required Labor Condition Application through the DOL and the Form I-129 petition filed with USCIS. Because Development Manager positions involve specialized advisory and business development work tied to accounting expertise, they generally meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires for H-1B approval.
How do I apply for Development Manager jobs at CohnReznick?
You can find and apply to Development Manager openings at CohnReznick through Migrate Mate, which lists roles where visa sponsorship is available. Applications typically require a resume, a cover letter positioning your client development and accounting background, and an indication of your visa status. Reaching out to a CohnReznick recruiter directly after applying can improve your response rate for roles requiring sponsorship.
Which visa types does CohnReznick commonly sponsor for Development Manager roles?
CohnReznick sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for Development Managers, with H-1B being the most widely used pathway for candidates from most countries. Australian nationals can pursue the E-3, which skips the H-1B lottery entirely. The firm also works with candidates on F-1 OPT and TN status, and may support transitions from those to long-term H-1B sponsorship as the role becomes permanent.
What qualifications does CohnReznick expect for a sponsored Development Manager?
CohnReznick's Development Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, often paired with several years of experience in professional services or client-facing advisory work. A CPA license or active candidacy strengthens your profile significantly. For sponsored candidates, your degree field must directly support the specialty occupation argument USCIS evaluates during the H-1B or E-3 adjudication process.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Development Manager at CohnReznick?
For an H-1B, the process runs from DOL LCA certification (around seven business days) through USCIS adjudication, which takes two to four months under standard processing or one to three weeks with premium processing. E-3 consular processing in Australia is often faster, typically running two to six weeks from interview scheduling. Start conversations with CohnReznick's HR team early so sponsorship paperwork doesn't delay your negotiated start date.
