Job Roles at Collabera Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Collabera Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles aligned with Collabera's tech staffing core
Collabera primarily places candidates in technology and software roles. Focus your application on positions like software engineering, IT consulting, and systems analysis, where visa sponsorship is most consistently offered and demand from clients runs high.
Understand Collabera's staffing model before applying
Collabera operates as a staffing firm, meaning you're often placed at a client site rather than working directly for Collabera. Clarify early in the process which entity sponsors your visa and how client transitions are handled.
Australian citizens should ask specifically about E-3 eligibility
Collabera has sponsored E-3 visas for Australian nationals. If you hold Australian citizenship, raise the E-3 option early since it avoids the H-1B lottery and typically moves through processing faster, making you an easier hire for staffing firms.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified Collabera openings
Staffing firms list roles across many channels, which makes it hard to confirm sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify active Collabera listings that explicitly support visa candidates.
Leverage Collabera's OPT and CPT history if you're on a student visa
Collabera has a track record of hiring F-1 students on OPT and CPT. If you're currently on a student visa, this is a realistic entry point, and demonstrating performance during OPT strengthens your case for H-1B sponsorship when the window opens.

Does Collabera sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Collabera sponsors H-1B visas and is one of the more active sponsors in the technology staffing sector. The large majority of their visa filings are H-1B petitions, typically supporting roles in software development, IT consulting, and systems engineering. If you're targeting Collabera for H-1B sponsorship, confirm the role structure and petition timeline early in the hiring process.
Which visa types does Collabera sponsor?
Collabera sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The H-1B dominates their filings, but the range of supported categories makes Collabera accessible to international candidates from multiple countries and visa situations.
What types of roles at Collabera typically receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Collabera is concentrated in technology and software roles. Positions in software engineering, application development, data analysis, IT consulting, and systems architecture are most commonly sponsored. Collabera places candidates at client sites, so the specific role and client engagement both influence whether sponsorship is offered.
How do I find open jobs at Collabera that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find Collabera openings with confirmed sponsorship history. Many staffing firm listings don't make visa sponsorship explicit, so using a platform that filters by verified sponsors saves significant time. Search for Collabera on Migrate Mate to see current roles matched to your visa category.
How do I approach the application process at Collabera as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Start by applying to roles that match your technical background and flag your visa status early. Because Collabera is a staffing firm, recruiters manage placements across multiple clients, so being direct about your timeline, OPT expiration date, or current status helps them match you to clients who are open to sponsorship. Following up promptly matters in this model.
