Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation standards
Cph's sponsorship activity centers on H-1B petitions, which require specialty occupation roles. Focus your applications on technical or analytical positions in food science, quality assurance, or supply chain management where a degree requirement is clearly defined.
Use OPT and CPT as a foot in the door
Cph sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it a realistic target for students and recent graduates. Securing a structured internship or OPT position first is a practical path toward longer-term H-1B sponsorship down the line.
Understand the Food & Beverage hiring cycle
Food and beverage companies often ramp up hiring ahead of production seasons. Timing your application to coincide with those windows can improve your chances of landing a role before the H-1B cap registration period opens in March.
Highlight technical credentials relevant to food industry roles
Cph is most likely to sponsor candidates with specialized backgrounds in food science, regulatory compliance, or engineering. Emphasize certifications, lab skills, or supply chain credentials that are difficult to source domestically and clearly justify sponsorship.
Consider TN or J-1 if you qualify
Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles may pursue the TN visa, and recent graduates may be eligible for J-1 sponsorship. Both paths bypass the H-1B lottery entirely. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and visa type.
Research open roles before reaching out to recruiters
Approaching Cph recruiters with a specific role in mind signals preparation and seriousness. Browse active listings filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, then tailor your outreach around the exact position rather than asking about sponsorship in the abstract.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cph sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Cph sponsors H-1B visas. H-1B is the primary work visa Cph has used to support international hires in specialty occupation roles within the Food & Beverage industry. If you're targeting Cph for H-1B sponsorship, focus on technical roles where a specific degree field is a genuine requirement for the position.
Which visa types does Cph sponsor?
Cph sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa, and J-1 visas. This range makes Cph accessible to international students on OPT or CPT, early-career candidates exploring J-1 opportunities, and experienced professionals pursuing H-1B or TN visa classification depending on their nationality and role type.
Which departments or roles at Cph are most likely to offer visa sponsorship?
Given Cph's industry focus in Food & Beverage, sponsorship is most common in technical and operations-oriented roles, such as food scientists, quality control specialists, supply chain analysts, and engineering positions. These roles align well with H-1B specialty occupation standards and represent the strongest candidacy for sponsorship consideration.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Cph?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find verified sponsorship opportunities at Cph. You can filter by company and visa type to see which roles are currently open and which visa categories the employer actively supports, without having to manually research sponsorship eligibility across individual job postings.
How do I approach the application process at Cph as an international candidate?
Start by identifying roles that match your technical background and clearly require your specific degree field, since Cph's H-1B activity is concentrated in specialty occupations. Apply early, be transparent about your visa status, and if you're on OPT or CPT, use that as an initial engagement point. Demonstrating specialized Food & Beverage expertise strengthens your case significantly.
