ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and maintain construction sites
- Load, unload, and move materials, pipe, and equipment
- Dig trenches and assist with underground utility installation
- Assist with water and sewer installation
- Build, set, and strip concrete forms
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing
- Work with hand tools, power tools, and small equipment
- Support excavation, grading, piling, and earthwork operations
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
- Work safely around heavy equipment and underground utilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and layout drawings
- Perform concrete placement and finishing support
- Work with gang forms, Symons forms, and wood forming systems
- Assist with pile driving and heavy civil construction operations
- Maintain safe and organized work areas
- Work efficiently with crews to meet production and quality goals
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Construction or heavy civil experience preferred
- Concrete forming experience preferred for carpenter positions
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed
- Welding and pile driving experience preferred but not required
