Align your degree to neurodiagnostics roles
Cadwell's core products cover EEG, EMG, and intraoperative monitoring systems. Your degree field needs to directly match the role you're applying for, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or clinical science credentials carry the most weight here.
Verify prevailing wage before salary negotiations
Before any offer conversation, run your target job title through the OFLC Wage Search. Cadwell's LCA must certify a wage at or above the prevailing level for your region, so knowing the floor prevents surprises late in the process.
Request LCA filing status during the offer stage
Once Cadwell extends an offer, confirm they've initiated the DOL Labor Condition Application before you resign from any current role. The LCA must be certified before your consulate interview, and delays here shift your start date.
Match your O*NET occupation code to your actual duties
Use O*NET to identify the occupation code that best reflects your day-to-day responsibilities at Cadwell. A mismatch between your listed duties and the specialty occupation standard is a common reason consular officers ask follow-up questions.
Search Cadwell E-3 roles through Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified E-3 sponsorship history, so you can target Cadwell openings where the employer has already demonstrated willingness to file. This removes guesswork from your outreach and focuses your applications on real opportunities.
Prepare clinical or technical evidence for the interview
Consular officers at Australian posts occasionally probe whether a medical device role genuinely requires a specialty degree. Bring documentation showing your specific technical responsibilities at Cadwell, product training records, project scope, or a detailed job description from the hiring manager.
Cadwell Industries E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cadwell Industries sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Cadwell Industries has a documented history of sponsoring E-3 visas for Australian professionals. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every role, so you should confirm E-3 willingness directly with the recruiter or hiring manager early in the process before investing significant time in the application.
Which roles at Cadwell Industries typically receive E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at Cadwell tends to apply to technical and clinical roles tied to its neurodiagnostic product lines, including positions in biomedical engineering, clinical applications, software development, and regulatory affairs. Roles that require a specific degree field, not just any bachelor's degree, are the strongest candidates for E-3 qualification under the specialty occupation standard.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Cadwell Industries?
After receiving a written job offer, Cadwell's HR or legal team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. Once certified, you complete the DS-160 online, pay the MRV fee, and schedule your consulate interview in Australia. USCIS is not involved in E-3 consular processing, the entire application runs through the U.S. consulate in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth.
How long does E-3 sponsorship take at Cadwell Industries?
The DOL typically certifies the LCA within seven business days. After that, consulate appointment availability in Australia determines your overall timeline, which can range from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on the post. Building at least six to eight weeks of lead time between your offer acceptance and intended start date is a practical approach.
How do I find open E-3 jobs at Cadwell Industries?
Migrate Mate lists roles at employers with verified E-3 filing history, including Cadwell Industries, so you can apply with confidence that sponsorship is on the table. You can also monitor Cadwell's careers page directly and ask recruiters explicitly about E-3 eligibility for the specific role before progressing to later interview stages.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Cadwell Industries?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
