Map your degree to a specialty occupation
E-3 approval hinges on demonstrating that your role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Use O*NET to confirm your target position at C W Facility Services qualifies as a specialty occupation before you apply, not after you receive an offer.
Request an LCA before your start date
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before you can apply at the consulate. At C W Facility Services, ask HR early whether their legal team handles this in-house or through outside counsel, so filing delays don't push back your start date.
Verify your offered salary meets prevailing wage
DOL requires E-3 employers to pay at least the prevailing wage for your role and location. Run your job title and zip code through the OFLC Wage Search before accepting any offer from C W Facility Services to confirm compliance and avoid renegotiating later.
Align your application with facilities project cycles
Construction and real estate firms like C W Facility Services typically ramp up hiring ahead of project start dates. Timing your outreach to coincide with new contract awards or development announcements can improve your chances of finding an active sponsorship opening.
Use Migrate Mate to check C W Facility Services's filing history
Before your interview, search C W Facility Services on Migrate Mate to review its E-3 and H-1B visa Labor Condition Application history by role type. This tells you which job categories the company has sponsored before, helping you pitch for roles with an established sponsorship track record.
Prepare for the consular interview with role-specific documentation
Consular officers at Australian posts will ask how your degree directly relates to your facilities or real estate role. Bring your LCA, offer letter, degree transcripts, and a brief written explanation connecting your qualifications to the specific duties listed in your job description.
Cushman & Wakefield E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does C W Facility Services sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, C W Facility Services sponsors E-3 visas. The company operates in the Construction & Real Estate sector and has filed E-3 Labor Condition Applications for eligible roles. Sponsorship is typically available for positions that meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, meaning the role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
Which roles at C W Facility Services typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in facilities management, project coordination, engineering, and real estate operations are most likely to qualify, provided they require a relevant bachelor's degree. Generalist or trade-based positions that don't require a specific degree are less likely to meet the USCIS specialty occupation threshold needed for E-3 approval.
How do I start the E-3 application process at C W Facility Services?
Once you have a written job offer, C W Facility Services's HR or legal team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. After the LCA is certified, you apply at a U.S. consulate in Australia with the LCA, your offer letter, DS-160 form, and supporting credentials. USCIS is not involved in consular E-3 applications.
How long does the E-3 process take at C W Facility Services?
The DOL LCA certification typically takes around seven business days. Consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth then determines the overall timeline, which can range from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on current wait times. Starting the LCA process as early as possible gives you the most scheduling flexibility.
How do I find open E-3 roles at C W Facility Services?
Search for C W Facility Services on Migrate Mate to find current job listings filtered for E-3 sponsorship eligibility. Reviewing the company's Labor Condition Application history on the platform also shows you which role types have received sponsorship before, helping you focus your application on positions most likely to move forward.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at C W Facility Services?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
