Frame your ad tech fluency upfront
Equativ operates in programmatic advertising and supply-side platform sales, so tailor your resume to show familiarity with DSPs, SSPs, or publisher monetization. Generic sales credentials won't distinguish you in a field where technical literacy closes deals.
Confirm TN eligibility before applying
If you're Canadian or Mexican, TN classification for Sales roles requires fitting a qualifying professional category. Most Sales positions don't qualify under TN, so verify your specific title and job duties against USCIS TN criteria before banking on that pathway.
Time your OPT application to hiring cycles
Equativ typically recruits Sales roles on a rolling basis, but starting your USCIS OPT application at least 90 days before your program end date protects your work authorization gap. A lapsed EAD card mid-interview process can kill an otherwise strong candidacy.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Sales roles
Filtering for visa-sponsoring employers in ad tech is time-consuming manually. Migrate Mate's job board surfaces Sales openings at companies like Equativ that have an active sponsorship track record, so you're targeting roles where the path to authorization is already established.
Raise sponsorship early in final-round conversations
Equativ's Sales hiring involves multiple stakeholders, including regional and global revenue leadership. Waiting until an offer is issued to discuss H-1B sponsorship creates delays. Surfacing your visa needs with the recruiter before final rounds lets the right approvers weigh in early.
Align your start date around H-1B cap deadlines
If your role requires cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, USCIS's April 1 filing window and October 1 start date are fixed constraints. Structure your offer negotiation around those dates so your employer's legal team has enough lead time to file Form I-129 without premium processing pressure.

Does Equativ sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Equativ has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales professionals. Sponsorship for Sales roles is not guaranteed at the offer stage, so it's worth confirming directly with the recruiter during the interview process. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, your employer files Form I-129 with USCIS in April for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Equativ?
Applications go through Equativ's careers page, where Sales roles are listed by region and function. You can also find sponsorship-friendly Sales openings at Equativ through Migrate Mate, which filters for employers with a verified visa sponsorship history. Tailor your application to show experience in digital advertising, publisher development, or programmatic sales to stand out.
Which visa types does Equativ commonly sponsor for Sales positions?
Equativ has sponsored H-1B visas and supported F-1 OPT and CPT authorization for Sales hires. F-1 OPT is the most common entry point for recent graduates, giving you up to 12 months of work authorization while an H-1B petition is prepared. TN status is also listed as a supported pathway, though qualifying Sales roles under TN categories is narrow.
What qualifications does Equativ look for in Sales candidates?
Equativ's Sales roles focus on digital media monetization, so relevant experience with programmatic advertising platforms, publisher relationships, or agency sales is valued. A background in ad tech, marketing technology, or digital publishing gives your application strong footing. For H-1B sponsorship, the role typically needs to qualify as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related field.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Sales hire at Equativ?
Timeline depends on visa type. F-1 OPT EAD cards take USCIS roughly three to five months to process, so apply well before your program ends. H-1B cap petitions follow a fixed calendar: lottery registration in March, filing in April, and work authorization beginning October 1. Premium processing reduces USCIS adjudication to roughly 15 business days but doesn't change the October start date for cap-subject cases.
