Frame logistics experience in visa-ready terms
When preparing your resume, document your experience managing freight operations, customs workflows, or carrier escalations in ways that map to H-1B specialty occupation criteria. A degree in supply chain, operations, or business logistics strengthens your petition considerably.
Target Flexport roles tied to freight verticals
Flexport organizes customer service teams around specific freight modes, such as ocean, air, and customs brokerage. Applying to roles that match your vertical experience makes your candidacy more specific and signals genuine operational fit to hiring managers.
Clarify OPT and CPT eligibility before applying
Flexport hires on F-1 OPT and CPT for customer service management roles, but your program must align with the job function. Confirm your STEM OPT eligibility early since logistics and operations degrees increasingly qualify, extending your authorized work period to 36 months.
Ask about sponsorship timing during the offer stage
Flexport can file H-1B petitions on your behalf before your OPT expires, but USCIS processing timelines mean you need to raise sponsorship intent before an offer is finalized, not after. Ask your recruiter directly whether the role has been sponsored before.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Flexport roles
Flexport's customer service management openings are not always easy to track across job boards. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified, sponsorship-confirmed listings at Flexport, filtered specifically for the visa types you hold or are targeting.
Understand how TN status applies to your background
Canadian and Mexican nationals in customer service management may qualify for TN status under management consultant or logistics-related categories, depending on how the role is defined. Review the DOL occupational category your Flexport job falls under before pursuing this route.

Find Customer Service Management at Flexport JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Flexport sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service Managements?
Yes, Flexport sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Service Management roles. These positions typically qualify as specialty occupations when tied to supply chain operations, freight logistics, or customs management and supported by a relevant bachelor's degree. Sponsorship is generally initiated after a job offer is extended, so raising the topic early in the recruiting process helps align expectations on both sides.
How do I apply for Customer Service Management jobs at Flexport?
You can apply directly through Flexport's careers page or find verified sponsorship-eligible openings through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can target positions that match your current status. When applying, tailor your application to the specific freight mode or regional team the role supports, as Flexport's customer service organization is structured around those verticals.
Which visa types does Flexport commonly use for Customer Service Management roles?
Flexport sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization path for Customer Service Management roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are used for candidates earlier in their careers, and TN status is an option for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals. For longer-term employment, Flexport has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, which typically follows several years of employment.
What qualifications does Flexport expect for Customer Service Management positions?
Flexport generally looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business operations, or a related field. Hands-on experience managing client accounts in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or international trade is highly valued. Familiarity with logistics software platforms and experience coordinating across ocean or air freight operations strengthens your candidacy, particularly for roles tied to specific freight verticals within their customer service organization.
How do I time my visa sponsorship process when pursuing a role at Flexport?
If you're on F-1 OPT, the key deadline is the H-1B cap registration window, which opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If Flexport extends you an offer before that window, they can register you in the lottery on your behalf. For candidates already in H-1B status elsewhere, a transfer filing can begin as soon as Flexport submits the petition, allowing you to start work without waiting for approval under portability rules.
