Job Roles at Amphenol
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Amphenol Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and technical roles
Amphenol's Green Card sponsorships cluster around engineering, R&D, and manufacturing roles. Positions requiring specialized technical degrees in electrical, mechanical, or materials engineering give you the strongest foundation for a sponsorship conversation.
Raise Green Card early in the offer process
Amphenol's HR teams are more receptive to Green Card discussions during offer negotiation than after you've started. Asking early signals long-term commitment and gives the company time to align legal resources before your first day.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Amphenol typically pursues Green Cards through the PERM route, which requires the company to conduct a supervised job search before filing. Understanding this process helps you set realistic timeline expectations and ask informed questions during interviews.
Look for roles with narrow degree requirements
PERM sponsorship is easier when the job description requires a specific degree field. Roles at Amphenol listed as requiring a degree in a precise discipline, rather than any bachelor's degree, are more likely to qualify for Green Card sponsorship.
Search for verified Green Card sponsorship history
Before applying, confirm Amphenol has sponsored the visa type you need. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you from applying to roles where sponsorship is unlikely to be offered.
Build tenure before initiating the Green Card conversation
Amphenol is more likely to invest in Green Card sponsorship for employees who've demonstrated consistent performance. Establishing yourself as a valued contributor in the first year significantly strengthens your case when you raise the sponsorship request.

Does Amphenol sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Amphenol sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is most common in technical and engineering functions, and the company typically pursues permanent residence through the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based categories via PERM labor certification. Not every role qualifies, so it's worth confirming sponsorship intent during the hiring process.
Which roles and departments at Amphenol are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Engineering, research and development, and manufacturing technology roles are the most common Green Card sponsorship candidates at Amphenol. Positions requiring a specific technical degree in fields like electrical engineering, materials science, or mechanical engineering tend to have the clearest path through PERM. Corporate and administrative roles are less frequently sponsored.
How does the Green Card application process work at Amphenol?
Amphenol typically initiates Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, where the Department of Labor requires the employer to conduct a formal recruitment effort to confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available. Once PERM is certified, Amphenol files an I-140 immigrant petition, and the employee either adjusts status in the U.S. or goes through consular processing abroad.
How long does the Green Card process take at Amphenol?
The timeline depends heavily on your nationality and the visa category. PERM certification alone can take six months to over a year. For EB-2 and EB-3 applicants from India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the total wait by years. Applicants from most other countries typically face shorter waits once PERM and the I-140 are approved.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at Amphenol?
Focus on roles with specific degree requirements that align with your background, and raise Green Card sponsorship as a topic during the offer stage rather than waiting until after you've started. Migrate Mate can help you identify Amphenol openings tied to verified sponsorship history, so you're targeting positions where the company has a real track record of filing for permanent residence.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Amphenol?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
